Safety

Naturally, as children age, their curiosity takes over.   They may attempt to open and close the diaper pail.

The Ubbi pail makes it more difficult to open and close because it has a knob that you have to turn on the top of the lid in order to open the pail hatch.

Issues

No Pinching Mechanism 

It’s difficult to have a diaper pail that has 100% odor shield protection, because you do have to open the pail in order to put the dirty diaper inside.

As already mentioned, the hatch for the Ubbi pail slides open. 

However, the Ubbi diaper pail does not have a “pinching” mechanism that other diaper pails, have.
